I’ve avoided gyms most of my adult life. The thought of working out when I could do so many other things sounded like a waste of time. As time went on my body, strength, endurance and over all self esteem started to go down hill. I started searching for gyms but the thought of going in to workout on machines that I didn’t know how to use made me walk right back out the door. I then found JHSWellness. The owner Jaleel has been what I’ve been searching for. He is encouraging, positive and knowledgeable. He doesn’t just train me, he teaches me along the way. Tells me what I am doing wrong and right in the moment and corrects me. In the short few months I’ve been training with him I’ve went down from a size 10 to a size 6. I can run now without having to stop every few seconds. I am getting stronger by the day and the best part is I am understanding why and what I am doing to get here. I still dislike working out but for once I don’t dread doing it and seeing the changes and working with someone so positive makes it all worth it

Never really had a trainer that was so involved in my everyday life. He does everything possible to have a open schedule. Not only did he tell me how to meal plan but actually took me to the store and showed what I can sub in and out then actually taught me how to change my cooking skills for healthier options. When working out he tried his best to come with new techniques and workouts to make it feel more funny and unique to me and my body. Definitely not a one workout fits all kind of coach.
